  • What does DocCity do?

    We handle the whole file for people who want to study, live or work abroad: university applications, visas, residence permits and the documents they require — translation, notarisation, apostille and consular legalisation. We work with people moving from Turkey to Europe, and from Russia and neighbouring countries to Turkey and Europe. We have two offices, in Maslak, Istanbul and in Moscow.

  • How do I get started?

    Just write to us on WhatsApp: tell us briefly where you want to go, why and when. We then tell you in writing which documents you need, in what order and where each one goes. If something is missing, you find out at the start, not halfway through your application.

  • How much does it cost, and when do I pay?

    The fee depends on the service and the country, so we do not publish a single price. You get the price in writing before any work starts, and no extra charges are added later. Government fees — such as consular fees, apostille fees or the residence card fee — are shown separately; the authority sets them and you pay them directly to it.

  • Can you tell me in advance whether my application will be approved?

    No, nobody can: the decision is made by the consulate, the migration authority or the university. Our job is to make sure your file is complete, correct and submitted on time. If we see a risk in your situation, we tell you plainly before you apply.

  • Do I need to come to the office?

    Most of the work is done remotely: you send photos of your documents, and if an original is needed we collect it by courier and send it back the same way when the work is done. Some steps, such as a power of attorney or certain consular applications, require you to be there in person; we tell you at the first conversation whether this applies to you. If you would like to visit, our offices are in Maslak, Istanbul and in Moscow.

  • How long does it take?

    Document work is quick: sworn translation and notarisation take 1–2 working days, apostille 1–3 working days, and consular legalisation 3–10 working days depending on appointment availability. For visas, residence permits and university applications, the timeline is set by the authority itself; when we take your file, we tell you the real situation on that day.
